Up to 20 picks in 2023: NFL Weeks 1 – 18, plus Thanksgiving Day/Black Friday and Christmas Day
Each team can only be selected once during the contest
Entries are eliminated from the contest by selecting a team that subsequently loses or ties its NFL game that week
The contest continues until a single entry remains
If more than one entry remains after all 20 legs, the pool is split equally among all the entries that successfully submitted a selection during the leg
Picks are due at 4 p.m. PST every Saturday or before kickoff of the selected game (whichever is earlier), except for: Thanksgiving Day/Black Friday: picks are due by 10 p.m. PST the preceding Wednesday night. Christmas Day: picks are due by 9 a.m. PST Thursday, December 25
If no pick is submitted by said deadlines, it counts as a loss

I will send my pick 24 hours earlier to a non-participating Five Lines player for oversight and ethical purposes
Submitted picks will then be live on the site, post-deadline

The 18-week contest is won by accruing as many points as possible, based on five (5) weekly NFL selections against a static point spread. Entrants will be awarded one (1) point for each correct selection, one half (.5) point for each push, and zero (0) points for each incorrect selection.
Official spreads will be posted Wednesdays at noon (Pacific time) in the LINES section and are sourced from here (the “Bet365” column).
A pick can be submitted anytime before kickoff of selected game (picks are time-stamped).
Last Place = $80
4th Place = $40
3rd Place = $80
2nd Place = 30% of remaining pot
1st Place = 70%*
To qualify for the Last Place prize, FULL participation (90 made picks) is required.
Buy-in is $40, payable by ApplePay (email me if you need my number), PayPal/Venmo (@Kirikos), or cash whenever you see me.
*In the event of a tie for 1st Place, the winner will be determined based on the entrant that accumulated the most Contest wins during the eighteen (18) weeks of the regular season. If total wins accumulated during the eighteen (18) weeks are equal, then the tiebreaker will revert to the entrant that has accumulated the most winning weeks. A winning week is defined as accumulating more than 2.5 points in a given Contest week. If total winning weeks accumulated during Weeks 1-18 are equal, then the tiebreaker will revert to the entrant that has accumulated the most undefeated (5-0) weeks during the regular season.
